1. Service Overview
Remarsh provides a hardware + software platform including live streaming, production monitoring, and optional Delay Mitigation Fund participation.
2. Transparency Portal
- Factories grant Remarsh permission to install cameras and stream footage to authorised buyers.
- Footage is stored securely for 30 days and used only for verification and dispute resolution.
- Clients agree that livestream data serves as the primary source of truth for delay claims.
3. Connectivity
Remarsh deploys dedicated private cellular networks (5G/LTE) or satellite backhaul at the factory site, utilising country-specific spectrum licensing frameworks (licensed, shared, or local-authorised bands). The factory provides physical space and power; Remarsh maintains equipment. Service uptime target is 99.5%, excluding force majeure events.
4. Delay Mitigation Fund Optional
- Participation is optional and requires a monthly contribution based on shipment volume (e.g., 1–2% of declared value).
- Payouts are automatic upon detection of a qualifying event, verified by independent meteorological data and livestream evidence of production stoppage.
- Payouts are capped at the actual cost of expedited shipping to meet the original delivery date, up to a pre-agreed maximum per shipment.
- The fund operates as a mutual risk-sharing arrangement, administered by Remarsh with active reserve management and potential reinsurance for excess risk. Remarsh is not an insurance company.
5. Liability
Remarsh's liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months. We do not guarantee fund sufficiency for all claims, though reserves are managed prudently.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate with 30 days' notice. Upon termination, cameras are removed, and any remaining fund balance (if applicable) is returned pro-rata.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with disputes resolved through arbitration under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
